Love Field Homes: Compare the Residential Address and Ownership Plan

Start with the Love Field Neighborhood in Dallas and the property-level checks below.

Separate the Residential Search From the Airport

The Love Field housing guide compares residential organization areas around the airport, including Elm Thicket/Northpark and Love Field West. Its historical sample combines those two mapped areas once per transaction; it does not describe every listing marketed near Love Field.

Start with the actual address, housing type and essential room arrangement. Define bedroom placement, work space, parking and outdoor needs, then compare candidates through their own condition and recorded ownership.

Compare Existing and Later Work

Walk the route from parking to the kitchen, living rooms and outdoor areas. Measure vehicle and storage clearance, compare original rooms with additions, and inspect drainage and roof transitions.

Request available permits and major-system records. Relevant inspections and estimates help establish condition beyond the finishes. For an attached residence, verify recorded ownership and any exterior, roof, common-area, parking and insurance responsibilities in current documents.

Visit at the Times You Expect to Be Home

Assess the specific block and home at relevant times, including the outdoor areas you intend to use. Test work and errand routes in both directions and verify actual entrances and parking. An airport-area label does not establish the same sound conditions, access or travel time at every address.

Verify current property restrictions and applicable requirements before relying on a renovation or other project. Evaluate an individual home with relevant sales of similar location, type, size and condition rather than treating a broad inventory range as the value of the property.

Historical House Research

The November 2, 2023–October 17, 2026 reporting window contains 302 detached-house sales in the guide’s stated coverage. Median sold price is $832,500, median interior size is 2,439 sq ft, and median reported lot area is 7,492 sq ft. Condominiums and townhouses are excluded from these house measures.

These full-period figures describe historical transactions, not current asking prices, appreciation or a valuation. Repeated sales are separate transactions; construction years can predate additions. Use relevant individual sales for the particular home.

Review Current Listings

Verify each listing’s exact address, ownership form, features and availability.

Coordinate the Ownership Budget

Collect current parcel-cost, insurance, financing and maintenance estimates. Keep purchase cash, recurring expenses and intended improvements separate, and reconcile escrow amounts to avoid counting taxes or insurance twice. If attendance eligibility matters, verify the exact address and current arrangements directly with the district.

After doing a quick Google search for realtors in the Dallas area, I came across Dustin Pitts. His Youtube series is definitely worth a view, especially if you are new to the area. We found Dustin to be knowledgeable, flexible and persistent in helping us find our forever home. He was available anytime we had a question or needed some advice.

Dustin was great! I was looking to purchase an investment home in Dallas and was very particular in what I did, and did not want. Dustin probably showed me at least 10+ houses and never once complained, and even reminded me to check into the tax implications of an investment home vs homestead. He was super responsive, and knowledgeable about a lot of the East Dallas neighborhoods I was looking in. He did have to ā€˜talk me off the ledge’ at least twice with this insanely crazy real estate market, and it all worked out. I will definitely use Dustin again if I buy another home.

We got hooked up with Dustin through a Zillow inquiry and boy did we hit the jackpot! Dustin helped us through every step of the home buying process and was a huge blessing as first time home buyers. He showed us close to 100 houses, helped us narrow our search down, and ultimately found us the perfect home for us that ticked all of our boxes. He is responsive, so so patient, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be using Dustin for all of our real estate needs in DFW from here on out. I highly recommend him to anyone shopping for a home in any price range and with any amount of home buying experience.

I can't say enough good things about Dustin. We began working together months before I was ready to purchase, and he patiently met me for several showings just to get an idea of what I was looking for. Dustin recommended a great lender, who got me pre-qualified and ready to go. I finally found the home I ended up buying, and the whole experience was smooth as silk. It took only a few weeks to close. The entire time, Dustin was more than responsive and went above and beyond to make sure everything happened on schedule, even as we were headed into the pandemic. He has also helped when I've had questions after the purchase. If you are looking for a great realtor, I HIGHLY recommend Dustin Pitts!
